The conference has a focus on worship and prayer rooms. There will be a prayer room with prayer and worship throughout the conference, daytime except during meetings and seminars.
Roy Godwin is the leader of Ffald y Brenin Trust in Wales, UK. He is the founder of the «Local Houses of Prayer Movement» which is spreading rapidly throughout the world. He is also the founder of several other movements focused on prayer-based discipling and missions. Bjørn Olav Hansen
Bjørn Olav Hansen will take part in Outcry 2017. He is a pastor in Det Norske Baptistsamfunn, pastor for Kristi Himmelfartskapellet, member of Ecumenical community in Bjärka Säby, and a leader for Norway’s national prayer council. It will be exciting to hear what Bjørn Olav has to share about the chapel which God laid on his heart to start, and his experiences in prayer. He is especially interested in early church history, the Eastern Church and the spirituality of wilderness fathers and the neomonastic movement. His desire is, through his books, seminars and retreats, to inspire a radical pursuit of Christ in prayer and commitment, and to build bridges between Christians of different confessions.
Marie Hognestad has been a worshiper and songwriter since she was 14. In recent years she has travelled throughout Norway as a worship leader. Marie’s songs reflect a passionate love of Jesus. Her songs are used in many congregations throughout Norway.
Mathias Furnes is from Åsane in Bergen, and is a fantastic worship leader with a heart for houses of prayer. In addition to his responsibilities on the conference committee, he will lead worship. After a year at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOP-KC) he dreams of seeing worship and prayer rising up from the Norwegian people night and day before the throne of God, and that the Church would find its place of intimacy with our Creator. He is an active worship leader in Kristkirken, youth work Kanal-U and various prayer rooms.
Anders Skarpsno is a delightful guy who burns for worship — which is his full-time engagement. Anders has a powerful ministry in Norway and has released 2 CDs and contributed to several others. He has been a worshiper from childhood and through his ministry has influenced worship in many different churches and movements in Norway.
Maria Hansen is one of the local worship leaders at the conference, and is also part of the conference committee. She has led worship and written songs since she was a teenager, and has released the CD «Radikal Kjærlighet,» which expresses deep love of Jesus. The past two years she has attended the music academy at IHOP-KC. She is currently a leader in a prayer room in Bergen and lives in a daily rythm of prayer and worship.
